The Friends of the Exeter Public Library, Inc. is a non-profit organization, established in 1999, committed to the growth and development of the public library in Exeter, Rhode Island.  The purpose of our organization is to establish closer relations between the public library serving the town of Exeter and the people it serves; to promote informed interest in the library’s function, resources, services, and needs; to confer with the Library Board of Trustees and the staff of the library on matters relating to the welfare of the institution; and to seek gifts, endowments, bequests, grants, and donations for the benefit of the Exeter Public Library.  The Friends conduct fund raising activities to support the development of programs for the extension and improvement of the Library’s services and resources.
