This site was developed as a pilot project for the Exeter Memory Project, a subcommittee of the Friends of the Exeter Public Library.

The material for this website was collected and compiled by Barbara Carroll and Sheila Reynolds-Boothroyd, along with help from other dedicated members of the Exeter, Rhode Island community. The photographs, newspaper articles and school committee reports that are viewable on this site are currently housed in the local history collection at the Exeter Public Library.
